Creating a Data Culture: A Story from Arizona
In August 2018, Westside Head Start (WSHS) in Arizona began designing data dashboards to guide continuous quality improvement. However, upon sharing them with the leadership team, it was immediately clear that they were overwhelming. WSHS’s Executive Director quickly learned that building a culture of data takes time and that he’d be better off introducing it to his team in small increments. WSHS has written up their story (including video clips from their leadership meetings!) to share with others wondering how to take the analytics on this site and bring them to their staff effectively.
